Mazda Mx5

Manufactured by Japanese car manufacturer Mazda, the mx5 has been a staple convertible since inception in 1989. Over the decades the vehicle has undergone generational changes and improvements, with the latest (4th) generation in production since 2015.  It is well regarded for a convertible priced under $50k AUD and has multiple versions available – from soft-top Mazda mx5s to hard top ‘RF’ iterations. The G29 opts for a soft top convertible roof, replacing the hard top that was found in the second-generation Z4 (the E89).
