This is a replacement soft top for the Cabrio, Golf Mk VI produced in the original German A5 Canvas to exacting standards using CNC cutting technology and comes with glass window & demister and integrated bow straps to replicate the OEM part.
We generally stock the original colours offered by Volkswagen however if you would like something custom made in a different colour or material please get in touch with us and will endeavour to help.
Mounting pivots and headliner retailer come attached to the glass.
Rain guard binding edge, cloth binding is original, integrated bow straps.
Please allow approximately 12 hours for the installation. This part is NOT recommended for DIY installation and we therefore strongly recommend professional installation from one of our authorised installers. Step-by-step instruction are not included with this item.
German A5 is a Twill weave 3-ply construction material made by Haartz with acrylic twill weave facing, rubber inner-layer and Polyester dobby backing. The thickness is 1.35mm and it carries a chequer style weave pattern on the back.
The glass used for the window is fully DOT compliant toughened safety glass that meets Australian Standards for automotive use. It is designed for maximum strength but if impacted will break into small safe pieces.
