This is a replacement pair of elastic tension straps for the 350Z manufactured in heavy duty elastic. Comes with rivets and the Nissan original part.
Nissan did not plan for progressive degradation of these elastics, unfortunately when they fail some problems can start.
The two main problems are: 1. the rear clam shell or soft top lid will not close all the way and 2. the top will start to show 2 small holes like a snake bite forming.
To prevent this replace your straps with these heavy automotive grade elastics designed to last as long as possible in the application.
Recommended every 3 years.
Allow approximately 1 hours for the installation. While a basic installation guide is included, we do recommend professional installation from one of our authorised installers. That said, many of our customers have installed their own parts and been happy with the result. It depends largely on your patience and level of practical experience.
