This is a replacement soft top for the MG-B produced in Haartz Colonial Vinyl to exacting standards using CNC cutting technology and comes with zipper and 3 plastic heat sealed windows to replicate the OEM part.
We generally stock the original colours offered by MG however if you would like something custom made in a different colour or material please get in touch with us and will endeavour to help.
Soft top and bows fold with frame. Suited to black fold down frames.
LOD snaps installed in rear. Body mounting flap on all MGB & C models, regardless of material.
All other hardware installed on vinyl, not cloth tops.
Centre window zips out and can be laid down flat for added airflow through the car without needing to drop the soft top.
Allow approximately 4.5 hours for the installation. While a basic installation guide is included, we do recommend professional installation from one of our authorised installers. That said, many of our customers have installed their own parts and been happy with the result. It depends largely on your patience and level of practical experience.
This is the Haartz version of British Everflex. The material has a leather grain finish on the PVC top face and a black cotton backing. It’s more UV stable than British Everflex and has a better compliance at lower temperature. This is a premium choice of material for a classic British car in the Australian climate.
The PVC used for the plastic window is a 40-gauge Regalite B.U.V. Ultralight plastic, which offers superior resistance to Australian UV light and scratches caused by washing and soft top use.
