This is a replacement combo 2 piece soft top for the 300SL,320SL,500SL,600SL (BS-129) produced in Haartz Twillfast II Canvas to exacting standards using CNC cutting technology and comes with 3 plastic windows to replicate the OEM part.
We generally stock the original colours offered by Mercedes however if you would like something custom made in a different colour or material please get in touch with us and will endeavour to help.
This soft top has 1 piece centre deck, hand rolled bindings and 3 windows with no window piping.
Please allow approximately 9 hours for the installation. This part is NOT recommended for DIY installation and we therefore strongly recommend professional installation from one of our authorised installers. Step-by-step instruction are not included with this item.
Twillfast II® offers a twill weave facing, elastomer inner-layer, and black or tan cotton dobby backing. Thickness is 1.3mm. It carries the hallmark chequer weave on the back.
The PVC used for the plastic window is a 40-gauge Regalite B.U.V. Ultralight plastic, which offers superior resistance to Australian UV light and scratches caused by washing and soft top use.
