This is a replacement pair of side tension cables for the Capri manufactured in stainless steel wire to precise standards and come with factory style fixings to replicate the Ford original part.
Side tension cable – measures 26″ long.
To make sure you order the correct part measure your existing top (side) from the very front of the embossed print to the rear second line of the embossed print, this pair of cables are for the top that measures is 63.5cm – See second picture for guide.
Please allow approximately 0.5 hours for the installation. While this part is not difficult to install it does not come with a step-by-step instruction book and we therefore recommend professional installation from one of our authorised installers.
This wire is a fine strand coated, highly flexible stainless-steel rope. At roughly 1.2mm in thickness it offers superior corrosion and fatigue resistance when compared to the plastic-coated steel solution used by most OEM manufacturers.
